Planner/Organiser Comments As this was my first attempt at organising an event, I was surprised at how much work was involved and I am very grateful to Tony Donaldson and David Olivant who helped with registration and the finish respectively.

The courses were fairly easy due to the fact that Rushcliffe is very devoid of features-it only really has path junctions and fence corners! The weather was very warm and sunny-sorry if it was a bit too hot for some but at least it was dry!

It was a good turnout and it seems that everyone enjoyed their runs-apologies to those on the score who marked up and looked for the "phantom" control 18. This control was only on one score master map and was nowhere else-not even on control descriptions!

Lastly, I am grateful to Rushcliffe Country Park for all the help and assistance they gave and also for letting us hold an event there.

Congratulations to Jennifer on a well planned and well organised event. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. I must accept responsibility for the phantom control - I'm not quite sure how it was missed during checking. (Maybe the Fat Controller from Thomas the Tank Engine would have spotted it).
